Eliva Press Publishing released on 22 June 2020 the latest book of professor Alexander J. Bělohlávek (in English) „Arbitration: Principles & Particularities“. The book deals with many many basic issues of international arbitration, from its fundamentals and its links to fundamental rights, to the issue of arbitration agreement, its nature from the perspective of contractual law and the law applicable to arbitration agreement, the position of arbitrators and their independence and impartiality in the light of international standards to the issues of the conduct of arbitration and procedual matters. Attention is also paid to the rights and duties of the parties, but also to the remedies against arbitral awards as exceptional tools.
