The 8th Annual Arbitration and Investment Summit – Caribbean, Latin America and Other Emerging Markets was a prestigious summit of experts held in late January 2020 in Nassau, Bahamas; the topic for this year was “A Clear Vision for Your Future” and a major part of the programme was traditionally devoted to international arbitration. Professor Alexander J. Bělohlávek presented his contribution in the “Emergency Arbitration and Corruption: When to Dial 911” section and Tereza Profeldová presented her contribution in the “Mediation, Arbitration, and Multi-Tiered Dispute Resolution Clauses: Is Getting an Award the Same as Getting Paid?” sections.
