Professor Bělohlávek lectured to Slovak judges.

The Detached Centre of the Judicial Academy of Slovakia in Omšenie hosted on 2 and 3 March 2020 a professional seminar for Slovak judges entitled “Effects of Insolvency Proceedings (Bankruptcy, Restructuring) on Judicial and Other Proceedings”. This professional event organised by the Judicial Academy (Academy of Magistrates) of Slovakia was also supported by the operational programme “Effective Public Administration” and by the “European Social Fund”. In his part of this seminar, Professor Alexander Bělohlávek addressed the main principles of the parallel proceedings with respect to a single insolvency estate, i.e. in relation to one and the same debtor, and the main principles governing the connections of parallel insolvency proceedings conducted in multiple states against multiple estates, i.e. several debtors in a group of companies.
