The Tenth Edition of the CYArb® – The Czech /& Central European/ Yearbook of Arbitration® has just been released. The publisher of this yearbook for past five subsequent years is the Dutch publishing house Lex Lata B.V. (www.lexlata.pro). The project has been created and managed by Prof. Bělohlávek together with his co-editor-in-chief, Prof. Dr. iur. Naděžda Rozehnalová, CSc. from the Department of International and European Law, Faculty of Law of Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic). The key topic for this year’s edition is “Arbitration and International Treaties, Customs and Standards”. The yearbook CYArb® has thus entered its second decade of existence (similar to its sister project, the CYIL – The Czech Yearbook of International® Law, last year) and it is available in libraries and institutions in more than 110 countries. Articles published in the CYArb® are often quoted in various academic treatises, monographs, and even court decisions (case-law) and arbitral awards. Professor Alexander J. Bělohlávek has contributed to the Tenth Edition of the CYArb® with his article entitled Independence and Impartiality in Light of International Standards and Disclosure Duty of the Arbitrator. This yearbook also contains not only the English versions of all articles, but also annotations in seven languages (English, Czech, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Polish) and other materials, for instance in the traditional “News & Reports” section, etc.
